Movie Review : Crazy Little Thing Called Love

  CRAZY LITTLE THING CALL LOVE

 The movie "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" played by Actor Mario Maurer (P-Shon) and Actress Pimchanok Lerwisetpibol (Nam). This movie is a production of Thailand. 

   It's about Nam, high school girl with dark skin,hair bangs, and also braces. Nam is daughter of hotel owner in Thailand. She just an ordinary girl, not so smart and stupid but she smart in English lesson, maybe because she uses to talk with tourists. In school, Nam gets 30th in her class rank and it's impossible to raise the rank fast. Nam has 3 friends who have same ugly face and also not popular. Nam fall in love with P-Shone, her senior who has every girl-wanted such as handsome, popular, easy going, funny and able to play soccer. 

  When someone fall in love especially first love, makes Nam becomes stalker. She likes to see P-Shone from far. Goes to the bathroom to pass P-Shone class and sees that boy. Nam's friends excited with a book that contains 9 ways to get boyfriend. At first Nam didn't interest, but not so long she do that 9 ways. 

   One day in a school festival, P-Shone join photography club meanwhile Nam who wanted to join in dancing club instead doesn't allowed by the teacher who wanted only beautiful girls can join the club. Finally, Nam and her friends forced join drama club which perform Snow White drama. Nam chosen as Snow White, not because she is beautiful but because she is the smartest in English lesson. At first Nam disagree but after sees P-Shone join the drama, she finally agree. 

   And there everything was started.

 P-Pin, one of P-Shone friends chosen as a dresser in the drama and succeed change Nam from ugly to beautiful. Actually Pin want to show to P-Shone if Nam is beautiful but P-Shone doesn't care and say " So ordinary, just Snow White with braces" hear that Nam becomes sad and decide to remove her braces.

   After the show finished, Nam more beautiful than before. Plus she chosen as a majorette in school parade and finally every boy in her school crush on her. Include one of new students who is P-Shone childhood friends, Top. Top clearly shows his attention to Nam and asks Nam to be his girlfriend. But Nam decides not to answers Top because she still in love with P-Shone. Until one night P-Shone and his friends throw camp fire and unexpectedly Top kisses Nam's cheek. But Nam not happy instead annoyed and then she decides not to be with Top again (a.k.a break up).

   Time passed, finally she become pretty and succeed as first rank in her school. And when graduate day, Nam feels it is time to express her feeling to P-Shone because she afraid couldn't meet him again. Sadly P-Shone go together with Pin. On the edge of swimming pool Nam tells to P-Shone all this time she changes for him. But P-Shone go together with P-Pin. 

   It turns out, P-Shone is type guy who scared to express his feeling directly.He willing Nam with his friend, when valentine day he gave roses which planted by himself but he told it was from Top. Actually all this time P-Shone gave attention to Nam, he likes to take a picture of her and all photos that he took are put in a scrapbook. Romantic guy and a little melancholy, but this type is every high school girl wanted, right? But the twist is really good, serious. 

   Overall, even this movie typical with cheesy high school love story which very ordinary but film director succeed pack an ordinary story become not only interesting to watch but also show a great shot! I love the angle of the picture, such scene P-Shone and Nam chatting on the bridge and when Nam cries in her room meanwhile P-Shone just now walk away from Nam's door house after place a scrap book full of Nam's pictures. Honestly, when i watched that scene i cry a lot, it sad to know that someone you love is not love you back after everything you did. 

  But happily, at the end they finally meet again in tv show after many years and P-Shone get together with Nam. 

   Very recommended for teenager who likes comedy love story and also full of lesson.
