"Holiday"
20th December 2013
Finally the school has finished and holiday just started. After all of students got our academic report, me and my classmates went to visit our physics teacher in Santosa International Hospital. After visited her,we went to KFC Riau to surprise our friend "Obet" because that day was his birthday. Well at the same time, that day was Eka's birthday too. But unfortunately Eka came late, so he didn't follow us to the hospital and KFC Riau. We heard Eka still in the school, so we came to the school and celebrate his birthday too. We asked Eka and Obet to treat us watching a movie, but sadly my parents didn't allow me. My friends told me they changed the plan because they didn't get the cinema's ticket. So they went to karaoke.

BANDUNG SHOULD NOT BUILD NEW ROADS
Roads
all over Bandung are getting much and the condition is bad. So should the
government build more road? Or not build new roads?
We know that new roads don’t solve people’s
transport problems. Instead, road-building generates even more traffic, damages
the countryside, adds to climate change and makes cities, towns and villages
less pleasant places to live for everyone.
Hundreds of miles of new roads,
costing billions of rupiah. When a new road is built, new traffic will
divert into it. Many people may make new trips they would otherwise not make,
and will travel longer distances just because of the presence of the new road.
Traffic levels on bypassed roads can also rise faster than expected due to
induced traffic, all of which means the hoped-for benefits of a new road can
evaporate very quickly. The benefits and costs of a new road will not be
accurately calculated, which can lead to big mistakes being made with public
money. And even if induced traffic is forecast correctly, it will still cause
damaging environmental impacts and extra congestion that make building big new
roads more pointless than ever.
We can change our habit using
private transport into using public transport. It will decrease the traffic jam
and air pollution. If Bandung build new roads and follow transport development
it mean nothing.
So the best way to increasing a traffic jam is
not build new roads.

Koala
| Koalas |
Koalas are actually marsupials, closer related to wombats and kangaroos.
| Wombat |
Koalas have special physical characteristics that support their tree-dwelling lifestyle. They have a body length of 50-85 cm and weight 4-15 kg. With two opposable digits, their forepaws are well-adapted to gripping branches and picking eucalyptus leaves. Tough textured skin on the soles of their feet with long sharp claws provide tranction and strong muscles help in climbing. Extra thick fur on their bottoms at the base of their backbone provide cushioning so they can sit comfortly on branches for hours. They also have a curved backbone and fewer pairs in ribs than most mamals (11-13) that creating a curled skeletal structure that fits into the branches of tree.
